Consumers are Going Shopping

As the weather gets warmer and COVID-19 restrictions loosen across the U.S., consumers are thinking about upgrading their wardrobes.

Mentions of shopping for and buying new clothes are trending higher in Spring 2021: +40% YoY (90-day moving average.)

We’ve yet to see a strong impact for any particular apparel store yet, but we’ll be closely monitoring long-term and short-term changes in volume to determine the biggest winners and losers of this rush back to retail.
